I wanted to update you on our Mindy. I knew when we brought her home that we would keep her forever. She is the best dog ever!! Mindy is sweet, affectionate, loving, patient, calm and playful. She has been such a joyous addition to our home. My three kids adore her and give her so much love. We think she sees them as her puppies because she washes them all the time. She will literally hold them down with her paw and clean their feet, hands and face (and yes they do shower often! hahaha). She greets them all every morning with a kiss and lots of tail wags. My youngest daughter Claire has really taken to Mindy and Mindy to her as well. I think it's because Claire shares her treats.
I love this dog more than I thought you could love an animal. She is something special. Everyone that meets her wants to take her home because she is so loving. Mindy is my little shadow and even though she loves our kids and my husband she rarely lets me out of her sight and sleeps every night next to me in her doggie bed. She goes everywhere with us and loves it. I have attached some pictures so you can see some of her outings.
This was my first time adopting a dog and I will definitely do it again. Thanks you so much forget me not shelter for all the love you give all the animals and to all the volunteers. You have a special place in our hearts.

Mindy is doing GREAT! She fits in so well with our family. The first day you could tell she was sad but is really finding her place with us. She absolutely loves our kids. She is so gentle with them and she gets lots of belly rubs and kisses from them. She loves riding in the van with us. Every morning since she has been here Mindy wakes me up by nudging my hand and when I say her name she jumps up on our bed does her happy dance gives me kisses and waits for me to wake up to take her outside. Yesterday we went to Tillicum Village and left her home (don't worry our neighbors took her out a few times) when we got home she was sooooo excited she was jumping all over and kissing us all and did this cute "talking". It was like she was trying to tell us she was happy to see us. It was precious. I attached a few pics for you to see!
