"We adopted Pearl. We recently lost our girl Baylee, a lab mix, to cancer. Pearl has been a blessing to our household. From the minute we saw her on the petfinders.com website she seemed like the perfect fit. We arrived home and put out her bed, some toys, and blanket, most of which were pink, then took her off the leash and let her have some space to get comfortable with the living room area. Cautiously she sniffed around the room then after a minute or two picked up one of her toys brought it to the bed and laid down and began chewing on it. Minutes later she got up grabbed another toy and went back to her bed and began chewing it. She did this until all her toys and her blanket were in bed with her. Then later that day while in her bed she fell asleep on her back with legs and head flopping over the edges of her bed. She has been unbelievable in every way. She hasn’t chewed anything but her toys nor nipped anyone while they were petting her. We put dry food out and sometimes she passes right by it. 2-3 hours later she has finished eating it all. Everyone is surprised that she hasn’t had any formal training. She has an old soul. Here are some photos of her from our first day. "
