Adopted 2/2007 to a fantastic family in Bellingham

" Lilly made it home with relative ease. We were so grateful that you had the earlier pick up date. It seems like the sooner they get "home" the easier training is. She has had only a couple accidents in the house. We're pretty vigilant. The fewer mistakes, the fewer bad habits to unlearn. She is doing really well.

Lilly (now Mocha) is a wonderful, smart (let me say that again), smart little sweetheart. She can sit, down and is almost reliable on roll over. We are working on climbing the slide in the back yard, and anything else that occurs to me in order to keep her active mind and body busy. She cracks us up on a daily basis. We are totally in love. She doesn't like walking on leash yet, so that is a work in progress. She's a bit like a fish on the end of the hook...all over the place, but she'll get there.

We have tons of pictures already and will pass one or two along rather than the million that might overwhelm any sane individual. Just want you to know how much we love her. We are very thankful to those people like you, who do the thankless, yet pricless, job of rescuing and caring for the animals that some people are so ready to throw away. Our lives would be so much emptier without you and the friend you saved just for us."
