"I just wanted to let you know that Leah's first day at home went fantastically! She really loves the kids and they love her, too. When I would take her out in the back yard to go potty she would wait at the sliding door for the kids to come out. And when they went inside because it was too cold/wet she would wait at the door for 10 seconds watching them go upstairs, lol.

I got tired of standing outside so I sat inthe grass and she came, on her own will, and sat in my lap for 20 minutes, it was a good bonding time.

She is doing great and we really love her. She is really great with the kids and doesn't play rough or anything. She chased them around in the back yard, I have attached a picture for you.

We taught the kids how to praise her by petting her and saying "Good girl!" when she follows their directions and/or goes potty outside. We are working in potty training and not jumping on people right now. She is learning her limits with the cat and other dog. The chihhuahua is 7 years old and isn't as into playing as Leah would like her to be, lol. But the kids definitely entertain her. She had a very good first day at home!"
