"She is an absolute joy! She is so confident, intelligent and independent (all characteristics of her breed/s) and a testament to the love she must have received in the care of FMNS. She was kind of sick Saturday...real lethargic and not eating, but I just gave her lots of love and quiet time and she bounced right back after she got over her long car ride/new house/new food-itis!

She was pretty much potty trained in THREE hours! I just took her outside every few minutes and when she peed I would praise her big time and then give her a little treat. After a few hours she would run outside through the pet door to do a few little drops so she could run back in and get a treat! *LOL* No accidents for 3 days! I was dumbfounded! During the last 24 hours however, she has decided to take the training too 'literally' and she runs outside to pee then comes back in to do the other thing! *LOL* I'm going to have to watch her very closely so that I can catch her when she wants to do the 'other thing' and put her outside and do the over the top praising thing again so that she understands that BOTH things need to be done outside!
We are going to name her 'Kim's Kenai Princess'...' aka 'Kenai', after our area of Alaska. If you're unfamiliar with the area it's pronounced 'kee-ni' , I think she is going to be a REAL big girl when she's done growing, so we decided she needs a strong name to match her regal carriage and what will no doubt be her impressive size!
