RECENT IMPOUNDS & STRAYS
Dogs and cats at large in unincorporated Ferry County are impounded at the discretion of the Ferry County Sheriff; dogs and cats at large in Republic city limits are impounded at the discretion of the Republic Police Department.
Impounds/strays are usually released for adoption after 72 hours if their owners have not claimed them.
See your dog or cat? Call 775-2308 or email us at the address below your pet's photo.
Proof of ownership is usually required to claim an impounded pet; bring photos and vet records, any other proof available.

Want to help us fund our lost and found program for stray and impounded dogs and cats? We do not currently receive any government funding for these stray and impounded dogs and cats; we advertise them with flyers and on our website during their impound periods. When they are released to us by the sheriff or RPD for placement in our Happy Homes adoption program, we accept all costs for further boarding, alteration, vaccination and medical care. or print a donation form to mail! We are a 501(c)(3) charity, and all donations are fully tax-deductible. |
