Mia and Abe arrived as transfers into the Sammi Fund for Seniors, after their owner had to enter a nursing home. Mia's exact age is unknown, but the vet thinks she is about 12. She is an affectionate and cuddly girl, an easy keeper who just wants a loving retirement home for her final years. She can be adopted with Abe, or separately; of the two, she is the more dominant dog.
She is reported to be good with children and other dogs, and so-so with cats. Mia doesn't have a ton of energy and should fit in well with a more sedentary family. A couple of short walks, a few brief play or training sessions, and a lot of snuggles are all she really wants. We were unable to coax her up onto the couch in the office, though she was reported to be used to sleeping on the couch in her prior home.
Mia comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period.
Spay/neuter, worming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $50, or SENIOR for SENIOR - adopters over 65 may name their own adoption fee); more gratefully accepted!)
