CiCi 1124

CiCi is a lovely 12 year old border collie/husky mix who transferred into our Sammi Fund for Seniors program due to a divorce. She doesn't understand why she's not with her people any more, but her spirits are good and she is enjoying making new friends around the shelter.

CiCi had a full blood panel run and all systems look great! Her only issue is a slight elevation in her liver enzymes, so we'd recommend giving her a liver support supplement (my own dog takes Denosyl and her liver enzymes improved very quickly once she started). She is having a dental cleaning done soon, and will then be ready to go home!

Her former owner reports she is great with kids, good with cats and chickens, OK with male dogs but not great with female dogs. She has excellent manners, knows how to sit and shake paws, and would be good in any sort of family. She gets around really well, still has some energy and likes walks, and should still be able to do short staircases pretty well. She is ready for someone who wants to give her all their love and affection for her last years, and she promises to smile at you every day and gaze lovingly at you with those pretty brown eyes (which are remarkably clear for her age).

CiCi comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period.

Spay/neuter, worming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $50, or SENIOR for SENIOR - adopters over 65 may name their own adoption fee); more gratefully accepted!)

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your payment to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
