Introducing the Cartoon Litter kittens; they were born 3/19/18, and came to the shelter when their owner surrendered them with their mother, Mini Moons, at 3 months old. Our volunteers are hard at work socializing these cuties, and they should all make wonderful companions for pretty much any type of home. Because they never spent any time outside with their mother to learn street smarts, they are more likely to run TOWARD danger than to save themselves, so should remain indoor-only cats for life.
Nermal is a grey and white tabby girl who absolutely loves to play. She will chase the wand toy everywhere including climbing a cat tower to catch it. Nermal is a curious girl who is quick to investigate what’s going on when people enter the room. She can be held, is good with kids and other cats, but has not yet been dog tested.
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome . Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
