Cochise C1152

Introducing the Native kittens; they were born 3-6-2018, to Castile, their two year old mother who came to us as a very pregnant stray we believe had been dumped in the town park. Our volunteers are hard at work socializing these cuties, and they should all make wonderful companions for pretty much any type of home. Because they never spent any time outside with their mother to learn street smarts, they are more likely to run TOWARD danger than to save themselves, so should remain indoor-only cats for life.

Cochise is a playful long haired tabby boy who loves to hang out with his litter mates and play with toys. He is curious and approachable although at the moment he is the most cautious of his litter mates and seems mature for a kitten. He is handled regularly by staff and volunteers, is responsive to them, and is becoming more and more affectionate.

We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."

All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
