Peaches is an adorable tabby and white girl, born in May 2016, who was left behind in a trailer park when her people moved away. We can't imagine how anyone could leave Peaches, from her super cute little round face, to her bunny-soft fur, to her dainty way of sitting with her feet and tail arranged just... so! She is very affectionate, and is a more submissive cat around others. She enjoys the company of other somewhat demure cats, like Harrah, more than she enjoys catitude cats like Patches. She would also do fine as an only cat. She has been outside before, but would adapt easily to being an indoor only cat if that is your preference (it is always safer for your furry friend to be indoor only, but we do allow cats that have some outdoor experience to go to indoor/outdoor homes).
We can tell that Peaches is still holding back a bit - there is more to her purrrrrsonality that she is saving for just the right person, one who wins her over and convinces her that she will NEVER be left behind again. Her spirits are good, but she does seem just a bit disappointed in humans so far... luckily, the volunteers all love her so she gets many great human interactions every day. That can never come close to the happiness Peaches will have once she finds her forever home - but we'll take care of her for now, until you find her and realize she is THE ONE.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Peaches is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
