Return to the Cats & Kittens page
Harrah is a sweet girl, we are guessing about 2 years old, who arrived as a stray with her 1-day-old kittens in tow! Several months have passed, and the kittens have all found their forever homes; now it is beyond time for Harrah to get her own family.
She is a sweet, low-key girl who is just a little bit shy. She is pretty accepting of other cats, and really enjoys hanging out quietly with a human. She was very thin when she arrived, but has filled out since her kittens went home. Harrah enjoys play time, too, but will defer to other cats, so will benefit from some one-on-one time with her person while any other kitties are busy elsewhere. She will be a good indoor only or indoor/outdoor cat; she will likely want to sleep on someone's bed, and is ready to be a special friend and companion to someone.
In this video, she is more interested in locating the tantalizing CATNIP she smells on the rug, than in play... she didn't join the other cats in her room during their video, and only came out for her own video (with her friend Peaches) after the catnip was put away. She says "yes, I love the petting and cuddling, and would enjoy some play too, but PLEASE be sure I get the catnip next time!!!" Sorry, Harrah.
This video was taken about 3 months prior to the one above, and shows her more playful side:
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Harrah is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
